We believe in the power of conversation and connection to drive real change. Join Luminary Talks to foster collaboration, build relationships, and take action towards a more just community.

Luminary Speakers include:

Bonnie McDonald, President and CEO of Landmarks Illinois: Bonnie McDonald, a leader in cross-sector collaboration, is a driven nonprofit CEO with experience creating and executing visionary programs. At Landmarks Illinois, she collaborates with stakeholders to transform historic preservation, as detailed in her book "The Relevancy Guidebook," which advocates for a more equitable and inclusive approach.

Daniel Anello, CEO of Kids First Chicago: Daniel Anello, a champion of community-driven change, is the CEO of Kids First Chicago, where he leverages his analytical skills and lived experience to support parent-led change in Chicago Public Schools. He partners with families to empower them with the resources and voice needed to achieve their educational visions.

Jamyle Cannon, Executive Director of The Bloc: Jamyle Cannon, a visionary who builds bridges between education and community, is the founder and executive director of The Bloc, a non-profit that combines boxing and education to empower Chicago youth. A former National Collegiate Boxing Champion and Teach for America alum, Cannon scaled The Bloc from a small program to a movement serving hundreds of fighters annually, with near-perfect graduation and college acceptance rates.

Adrian Segura, Founder and President, The Luminary Collective: Adrian Segura, a catalyst for cross sector initiatives, is an award-winning leader with a rich background in the nonprofit, government, and social impact sectors. He has helped launch multi-million dollar initiatives and engaged tens of thousands of stakeholders to help shape and co-design policies, investments, and priorities.

Women in Manufacturing

On Wednesday, October 8 2025, mHUB will host its next Women in Manufacturing event, which convenes hundreds of change-makers from across the country. At this event, startups, entrepreneurs, and industry come together to celebrate women in hardtech industries. The event features networking opportunities, insights from industry experts, and an interactive activity to close out the program.
