mHUB was thrilled to welcome Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome H. Powell and Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Charles Events to tour the facility on Friday, April 6 and meet with some of our manufacturing partners and physical product startups. The visit came on the heels of Chairman Powell’s speech to the Chicago Economic Club, his first public speech as fed leader. The only other stop in Chicago outside of the speech, the visit to mHUB reinforces manufacturing innovation’s potential for impact on the economy.

Chairman Powell and President Events met with mHUB members Ashley Moy of Cast 21, Lucas Frye of Amber Agriculture, Robert Quinn of SymGym, Crystal Hodges of Luft Studios and Johnathan Sheinkop of Ergo Impact. He also met with mHUB partner Derek Ellis of FisherUnitech.
