Chris is a media entrepreneur who started MedCity News, the destination source healthcare innovation news and the host of MedCity INVEST, the healthcare investing conference held annually in Chicago. After MedCity News' successful exit, Chris joined the board of its acquirer, Breaking Media, and went on to work as an executive at publicly traded media companies The E.W. Scripps Co. and Nexstar Media Group. He still sits on the Breaking Media board, is a mentor at the MATTER healthcare accelerator, is a coach at Northwestern University's Medill Local News Accelerator, and operates his own consultancy: CLCC Media Consulting. Chris has decades of expertise in digital media, content marketing and connections throughout the medical industry.
