Based at U.S. missions overseas, IP attachés are U.S. diplomats who work to improve IP systems abroad using their extensive IP knowledge and experience. IP attachés are dedicated to helping U.S. businesses understand and address IP challenges and issues they may face in foreign markets. Attaché services are designed to provide businesses with the information they need to:
- navigate foreign IP laws and regulations,
- work with foreign courts and governments on IP matters, and
- develop strategies and solutions for protecting and enforcing IP abroad.
