Join us for a three-hour class that covers basic mild steel fabrication including MIG welding, taught by the professional metalworkers of Arc Academy in mHUB's Metal Fabrication Lab

On completion of this single class, participants will be eligible to take metalworking to the next level by taking TIG classes taught at Arc Academy’s nearby welding school. mHUB members will receive a discount for these additional classes via Arc Academy, learn more at arcacademy.com
Hands-On Training
Class size is limited to 5 attendees. More classes will be added to meet demand. The cost of the class is $175 and is offered to Mhub members who have completed Basic Shop Safety Training and . The class is held in the mHUB Metal Fabrication Lab. All materials and safety equipment are provided.

Safe and Smart
Completion of this class will certify the participants to work independently in the Metal Fabrication Lab. Metal working equipment and techniques require more training and awareness of injury risks than any of our other labs.
Required Attire
- The Metal Fabrication Lab and Fabrication class require proper welding attire.
- Required clothing include but are not limited to:
- Work clothes (No synthetic materials such as, no polyester, nylon)
- Leather shoes (boots are preferable)
- Long sleeve work shirt
- Long pants made of heavy materials such as jeans or duck cloth
- Safety glasses are mandatory. If you wear corrective reading glasses, please bring them to class.
If you do not come to class with the required clothing, you will not be allowed to take the class and no refund will be granted.
