Join us for a TIG welding class open only to mHUB members and hosted at Arc Academy by Stephen Christena.
Open to any member trained to use the Metal Fabrication Lab. This class will be held at Arc Academy HQ.

Join us for a three-hour class that covers basicTIG welding, taught by the professional metalworkers of Arc Academy.Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before the class. Arc Academy is less then a mile west of mHUB on Chicago Ave.
The class will cover TIG Welding:
- basic principles
- set up
- welding techniques
Hands-On Training
Participants will be practicing with a TIG welder for most of the session.
Class size is limited to 5 attendees. More classes will be added to meet demand. The cost of the class is $175 and is offered to Mhub members who have completed metal fabrication lab training, or who are enrolled in the next training class. All materials and safety equipment are provided.
Completion of this class will certify the participants to work independently in the Metal Fabrication Lab with the TIG welder.
Required Attire
- The Metal Fabrication Lab and Fabrication class require proper welding attire.
- Required clothing include but are not limited to:
- Work clothes (No synthetic materials such as, no polyester, nylon)
- Leather shoes (boots are preferable)
- Long sleeve work shirt
- Long pants made of heavy materials such as jeans or duck cloth
- Safety glasses are mandatory. If you wear corrective reading glasses, please bring them to class.
If you do not come to class with the required clothing, you will not be allowed to take the class and no refund will be granted.
