Manage the VR Center in Product Development, and provide immersive virtual reality evaluation systems used for industrial design and product development. Deploy immersive systems at Ford that address the unique challenges of automotive design and engineering. Lead the development of several VR systems for vehicle development that satisfy evaluation criteria for engineering, packaging and aesthetic design of vehicle interiors and exteriors by allowing different disciplines in product development to communicate in a common environment.

My talk is “Welcome to the Holodeck”, a discussion of the latest capabilities in Immersive Technologies and some of the similarities in approach to the concept of the Star Trek Holodeck. Explore how will they change how engineering is performed and communicated. Review both the tool sets of today and tomorrow, and how they are being applied in applications ranging from engineering design, styling design, and data visualization.

BIO
Brian is the Executive Director of CRUSADES 22, and brings in his varied skill set, over 20 years of expertise in Optimal Human Performance, Mindfulness, and Integrative & Complementary Care. Brian has worked with the general public, educators, artists, senior management, business owners; and is now sharing CRUSADES 22 with active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders and their families. Brian is also the CEO and Executive Program Director for METASphere Industries.
Brian graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University is 1995, earning a double major in Exercise Science and Applied Psychology, placing the emphasis of his studies in the area of Sports Psychology and Optimal Human Performance. Brian’s practice what you preach mentality is incorporated into his own daily practice of personal health and wellness in every area of his collective self; Heart and Soul, Mind and Body.
Brian is a Shamanic Explorer and his love of nature connects him to his Native American/Cherokee Indian heritage and supports his mindfulness, meditation and self- awareness work. This love of nature also sees Brian participating in the extreme outdoor skills and fitness training programs in which he engages and shares with participants on the CRUSADES 22 program. Brian firmly believes cultivating the care, love and compassion of one’s self leads to each of us gaining the ability to not only serve ourselves more effectively and efficiently, but that we can also help exact that type of positive message and power out into the world.
Brian is extremely excited about taking C22 and METASphere into 2018 and beyond . . .
