Why this matters
Uncomfortable bras do not discriminate. They cause pain and embarrassment for women of all ages, shapes, sizes and ethnicity.
- 64% of women wear the wrong bra size, according to Swiss lingerie company Triumph
- Middle school girls are dropping out of sports, with 46% of girls reporting that their breasts had some effect on their participation and jumping up to 63% for large-breasted girls according the Journal of Adolescent Health
- Nursing mothers pay high prices for something they will only use for 6 months and often aren't even satisfied with what's available on the market for them
- These days it's "All About That Bass" but full-figured women struggle to find bras, sports bras, and bathing suits that support their full, larger chest sizes. They end up wearing 2 or 3 bras just to go for a jog... and some even resort to duct tape!!

What we're solving for:
Women's body shapes have evolved over the years due to the changes in our lifestyles, and big corporations like Victoria's Secret simply have not kept up. Not to mention, women have often not had a seat at the table in these big corporations and, therefore, had no input into the design and creation.
We think it's time to make a change!
Who we are
We are a group of working designers in Chicago who believe that every woman deserves a bra they love. But beyond bras, our focus is empowering women to design new products, services, and experiences that benefit other women. We believe that powerful design thinking tools can allow us to solve issues we see in our lives and generate interest in or knowledge about business, engineering, and other technical fields where women are often underrepresented.
