Allison Winstel is the summer 2021 programs and engagement fellow, supporting programmatic activities and curricular programs for underrepresented entrepreneurs. She is passionate about bringing together the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build and scale more sustainable and equitable communities and economic systems.
Previously, she worked at Deloitte Consulting in Chicago, advising a variety of private and nonprofit clients on their strategic and operational goals. Allison is a graduate student at the University of Michigan pursuing her MBA and MPP.
She has deep Midwestern roots, growing up in Cincinnati, OH and earning her bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management from Indiana University. In her free time, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, fermenting some kombucha or kraut, or reading a book (preferably by the lake).
